Our Gourmand
Breakfast is one of our distinguishing features. This delicious
breakfast is served every day in the hotel lounge next to the tea-room
or in your room . While you are eating your breakfast you can enjoy
your favourite classical music: you will find our selection of classical
recordings in your room directory. Every morning Hotel Pampinot
suggests a selection of products that you may like to try:
• Freshly-squeezed orange juice made from oranges supplied
in season by Federico Aparici and Lola Colomer of Naranjas Lola
and shipped directly from their orchards in Cullera (Valencia) .
• 100% Arabica coffee from Colombia, hand picked at altitudes
of between 1,700 and 1,800 metres. A mild, fruity, highly aromatic
coffee .
• Tea from Harrods Ltd. of London. Harrods has been selecting
the best teas since 1849. We offer their English Breakfast tea Blend
No. 14, a blend of teas from Assam, Ceylon, Darjeeling and Kenya.
• A superb selection of bread rolls, pastries, jams and marmalade.
Our marmalade is home-made with bitter oranges from the garden of
Casa del Faro (“lighthouse cottage”) in Hondarribia.
We also provide jam made with organically-grown fruit from the Prince
of Wales’ Duchy Home Farm.
• A selection of sugars including rock sugar and candy sugar.
• Cakes and tarts from Pastelería Brasil, a cake shop
run by Koldo Salina, who is an honorary member of the French Brotherhood
of Chocolate-makers and has won prizes in Roanne, Auxerre, Mont
de Marsan and Annecy.
• Alhema de Queilles extra virgin olive oil made with selected,
organically-grown arbequina olives.
• Fresh fruit salad, prepared and served on the plate, with
oranges from Federico Aparici and Lola Colomer of Naranjas Lola,
shipped directly from their orchards in Cullera (Valencia) .
• High-quality cured shoulder of pork from acorn-fed Iberian
pigs.
• Smoked and natural Idiazábal designated origin cheeses,
served with black cherry jam.
